Affiliate Marketing is one of most lucrative industries in the world and it comes as no surprise that like any other industry, the cream rise to the top. It is estimated that 20% of Affiliate Marketers bring home up to 80% of the money on the table but how do these marketers position and keep themselves in front of the money time and time again.

One of the biggest mistake Affiliate Marketers make is their belief that Affiliate Marketing will bring them instant riches, while it’s true that the most successful Affiliate Marketers make seven figure incomes these marketers did not achieve overnight success and either will you, sorry to break any possible delusions

In order to be successful in this industry you must have the right mindset, that being, one of action, patience, determination and self belief. Time and time again newcomers will simply sit in front of their PC’s expecting for money to magically to appear in their account after writing one article or setting up a blog. Many are guilty of this, spending more time checking stats and sales totals while their day slips by with no work being put into their online business, if you are guilty of spending more time waiting for money instead of going out there and grabbing it you must stop immediately.

Patience is another one of those sticky points that most marketers can not overcome. Rome was not built in a day, and your online empire will not be created overnight either. With countless websites promoting instant riches, the industry has been receiving bad press for years, the cause? Scumbags preying on those desperate for easy money, unfortunately it’s impossible to police and I can’t help feel sorry for those people that get involved with get rich schemes that cost them not only time but thousands of dollars. Avoid promises of the world and realize that you must learn the ropes, pay your dues and work hard to make things work.

Another factor is self belief, ask any successful marketer, their never give up attitude is paramount to their success. This industry will see you failing more times than you succeed but it’s these failures that allow you to regroup, reassess and change direction. Get into the mindset that each failure is feedback, praise it, accept it and use it to fire you up and get on the battlefield again.

They say if you never quit you can never fail, these words ring true for all aspects of life, Affiliate Marketing is no exception. Jump in front of your computer, grab a pen and piece and paper and starting writing your goals and time lines for each, after you reach each goal, set new ones, this time you will have the confidence that the next steps will always be as easy their the first you had to take.
